How to Behave in the Church
|
The Church is a FAMILY (Eph 3:15; 4:6). |
Therefore we must live with mutual trust, respect and cooperation.
|
The Church is a FELLOWSHIP (Acts 2:42-45; 1 Jn 1:3). |
Therefore we must share with others the privileges and profits
and support one another in crises and sorrows.
|
The Church is a BODY (1 Cor 12:12,27; Eph 4:16). |
Therefore we must unselfishly care for one another
and help the weak with kindness and loving concern.
|
The Church is a BUILDING (Eph 2:19-22; 1 Cor 3:9). |
Therefore we must stay happy and humble in the position in which
God has placed us, without boasting of ourselves or despising anyone.
|
The Church is a SCHOOL (Eph 3:18,19; 4:11-14). |
Therefore we must not neglect the regular gathering of the saints
for edification and education.
|
The Church is a FLOCK (1 Pet 2:25; 5:25). |
Therefore we must not be independent but interdependent
and cooperative in whatever we do, following the Shepherd of our souls.
|
The Church is a HOUSE (l Tim 3:15; Heb 3:6). |
Therefore we must fill it with the fragrance of the knowledge of Christ
to bless the residents with relaxation and refreshing.
|
The Church is a FIELD (l Cor 3:9; Heb 6:7-12). |
Therefore we must ask for and experience more
and more of the Spirit’s outpouring, and in response give much fruit.
|
The Church is an ARMY (Eph 6:12; 2 Cor 10:3-6). |
Therefore we must be watchful always against the attacks of the enemy
and march boldly and unitedly to free people from the devil’s captivity.
|
The Church is a LAMP (Mt 5:14-l6; Phil 2:14-16). |
Therefore we must live an exemplary life before the world
and dispel darkness by consistently testifying about Jesus,
the Light of the World.
